Ground : The sandstone and hard limestone of Boutenac
- 60% Mourvèdre, goblet size. 30-40 years.
- 40% Carignan, goblet size. 40-50 years.
Cultivation: Plowed soil, plant protection
reasonable phytosanitary protection, respect of natural balances. Free vegetation.
Cultural practices adapted to the conditions of the vintage
and to ensure the best balance of vine trunk, good ventilation and good sunlight, a
slow ripening of the berries, long and regular.
Harvesting: Manual, sorted on the vine.
Vinification: hand sorted on arrival in the cellar,
Fermentation of an assemblage of grape varieties by level of
Fermentation time 35 days.
Ventilated extraction and pumping.
Aging: Put in barrels after aeration and suspension on the fine lees.
Aged 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Pronounced purple colour, fine and complex aromas of ripe fresh fruit and small berries. Notes of
scrubland. On the palate the wine is opulent, dense and straight; with a good final length.
The tannins are tight.

Temperature: Serve between 18 and 20 ° C
Production: 9000 bottles per year.
