THURSDAYS AT GRAND MOULIN
In a warm atmosphere enjoy a meal in the heart of the winery. Every Thursday evening in July and August discover a different menu: grilled piglet, t-bone steak, duck breast etc. Accommodating up to 200 guests, on large tables we can put the world to rights, make new friends and all alongside the wines of the Château Grand Moulin.
The event started as early as 2009. Jean-Noël Bousquet imagined the Jeudis de Grand Moulin. The idea was to invite his friends to a joyful meal in a warm atmosphere in the heart of the cellar, among the vats. Over time, thanks to word of mouth, this meeting has become a popular event that fills the winery with an audience of wine amateurs.
THE HARVEST FESTIVAL « DIUS A VOL »
When the harvest is finished, Frédéric and Jean-Noël organise a special off-season Thursday in order to celebrate the « Dius a Vol », an Occitan expression which means « ”God willing the wine will be good this year ».
At Château Grand Moulin, we wish to share with you this traditional festival, a legacy of the Languedocian wine culture.
WEDNESDAYS AT GRAND MOULIN
After making your reservation with us, the meeting time is at 9.30am every Wednesday between mid July and mid September, and by request the rest of the year. Enjoy a guided walk in the vineyards and a visit of the cave followed by a wine-tasting brunch. This activity lasts around 3 hours and we will be delighted to share this time with you.
On the menu: specialties of local sausage, charcuterie and cheese, embellished with the wines of the domain. A good formula to discover and understand the vine, the wine and the lifestyle of the Languedoc
OPEN DAY & CHRISTMAS MARKET
As you approach the end of the year, you are invited to discover the magical world of wine at Château Grand Moulin. Take part in a wine cellar tour, taste the wines and other local products.
Stroll among the vats and the ephemeral stalls made by our local craftsmen. Combine the useful with the pleasant, to prepare your holiday gifts and admire the creative talent of the craftsmen.
Discover the history of an atypical wine domain and taste its great Corbières wines. Visit the cellar and its infrastructures: wine cellar, bottling line, vinotheque, etc.
