GRANDS VINS DES CORBIÈRES

Jean-Noël Bousquet bought his first hectare of vines at 17 years old. Five years later in 1978 he establishe himself as a young farmer with 8 hectares. At this time he was selling his grapes to the cooperative.

“I had to buy everything, which is a benefit. I know the value of things and I don’t owe anything anyone “- Jean-Noël BOUSQUET, portrait “A Man Strong In Tannin “- Excerpt from the newspaper La Depeche June 13 2001

A breathtaking visual impression!

In the heart of Lézignan-Corbières discover a grand chai, born from the marriage of wood, stone and stainless steel. The winemaking workshop is equipped with innovative and functional installations: automated sorting table, stainless steel conical tanks etc. Adjoining the winery there are the barrel room and the bottling line.

For Bousquet father & son, the sure value is the land. Together, they work to identify the best wine terroirs, at home in Lezignanais.

For 40 years, they have selected and established more than 250 plots on Lézignan-Corbières, Conilhac-Corbières, Boutenac, and Luc-sur-Orbieu. This mosaic of wine terroirs is a real concentrate of the diversity of the Corbières, and constitutes all the wealth of the Château Grand Moulin.

The Château Grand Moulin is a fabulous playground for the winemaker who seeks to reveal the uniqueness of the Corbières terroirs. The result is a wide range of rich red, white and rosé wines.

The terroirs of the Château Grand Moulin have been recognized for their high quality potential and they are classified as AOP Protected Designation of Origin Corbières and Cru Boutenac. Jean-Noël & Frédéric Bousquet proudly cultivate and represent this origin and quality of the Corbières region.

Unique in Languedoc, a winery situated in the centre of town, attached to a fragmented vineyard of 130 hectares located on exceptional wine producing terroirs. A shining example of the diversity of the Corbières.
